Jonathan D. Chang (張敦翔)

I’m a first generation Taiwanese-American multidisciplinary designer and illustrator based in Los Angeles, CA.

Throughout my design career I’ve had the privilege of taking on diverse responsibilities from providing art and creative direction for various industries in Toys and Games (physical and digital), Themed Entertainment, and community organizing initiatives from grassroots movements to national Presidential campaigns.

I specialize in executing brand design, key art, illustration, and coming up with cool designs for new intellectual properties. I’m passionate about designing for consumer products and digital media. One of my favorite things is seeing my work on shelves, on someone’s shirt, or shared all over the internet.

On a personal level, I believe in using design and illustration to enact positive social change for all communities using digital and social media platforms.

When I am not heads down in my sketchbook, I like drinking coffee and smashing that “Hot & New Restaurants” search button on Yelp.
I occasionally take my 2 cats (Pickle & Jeni) on outdoor adventures in their favorite pet stroller.
